The conversion of the Holiday Inn Front Royal into the DoubleTree by Hilton marks a major repositioning milestone for this Shenandoah Valley property. Led by G Con Construction, this transformation elevated a dated hotel into a warm, contemporary, and upscale destination that reflects the comfort, quality, and signature hospitality of the DoubleTree brand. Every aspect of the property was reimagined—from guestrooms and corridors to the lobby, dining areas, meeting rooms, and exterior façade—to create a fresh and inviting environment for travelers visiting the region’s outdoor attractions, vineyards, and historic towns.

G Con oversaw a complete interior and exterior revitalization, incorporating Hilton’s brand standards, upgraded finishes, enhanced guest amenities, and modernized building systems. The repositioning focused on improving flow and functionality while introducing a refined aesthetic consistent with DoubleTree’s relaxed sophistication.
